In short: An integration connects aishaa to a system of yours, for example a webshop, a warehouse system or a case system. All integrations are on one page: Organisation > Plugins. An integration gives you three things: the customer’s records on the ticket, actions your team or the AI can carry out in your system, and catalogues aishaa can search.

Where to find this

Go to Organisation > Plugins. You see a grid with one card per integration that is available to you. Click a card to set up or manage that integration.

Who: from the Organisation admin role. You set up integrations per organisation. In an account with several organisations, an Account admin can share an integration with the whole account.

The Organisation > Plugins page with a grid of cards, each with an icon and a name, and the green Connected chip on a connected card.

What an integration is

An integration fetches data from a system of yours and brings it to the ticket, and it can carry out actions in that system. This is how aishaa looks up the customer of a ticket in your system, puts the records it finds next to the conversation and uses them when writing a reply.

Every integration is built by aishaa and hosted by aishaa. You do not have to install anything: the integration is on the Plugins page as a card and all you have to do is connect an account of your system to it. See Set up an integration.

Which integrations are on the page differs per account. If the integration you are looking for is not there, or the page is empty, contact the aishaa team via the aishaa support chat in aishaa (menu Chat, conversation aishaa support) or via support@aishaa.nl.

What the page looks like

The page is called Plugins. Each card shows the icon and the name of the integration. You may also see the following on a card:

Element Meaning
Connected A green chip on the card: this organisation has at least one working connection with this system.
Account-wide Only in an account with several organisations, and only on a connected card: the integration is shared with all organisations in the account.
The name of the organisation Only in an account with several organisations, and only on a connected card: the integration applies to that organisation only.

If you click a card, the page of that integration opens, with the name as the title and the active version below it. There you create a connection, manage the existing connections and set what the integration may do.

What an integration gives you

An integration gives you records, actions, catalogues and views, and you can use it in workflows. aishaa sets up what an integration offers per integration. For some integrations you decide yourself which records and actions it offers; see Decide for yourself what a plugin offers.

Records on the ticket

The integration looks up the customer of a ticket in your system, by email address or phone number. The records it finds appear next to the ticket, in a tab per record type, for example orders, returns or cases. The name of the tab matches the record type the integration supplies. If several integrations supply the same type, they appear in the same tab. See Records from connected systems on a ticket.

Whether aishaa searches automatically, only on request or not at all, you set per integration under Customer records. See Plugin settings: customer data, catalogues and actions.

Actions

An integration can offer actions: changing, requesting or creating something in your system. Your team carries out an action from the ticket, and the AI can propose an action so that a colleague only has to approve it in To do or on the ticket. For each action you decide under Actions from which role it may be carried out. What the AI may do with an action is set in the skills of an agent; see Skills.

Catalogues

If the system offers searchable collections of records, for example a product catalogue or a price list, aishaa keeps them up to date and the AI can search them. See Catalogues of a connection.

Workflows

In a workflow you use an integration with the steps Fetch from a connected system, Customer’s record, Read the record’s details and Plugin action. That way a workflow retrieves data or does something in your system, as a proposal to a colleague or directly. See Data from connected systems in a workflow.

Views

Ticket views and action cards show the data of an integration clearly on the ticket. Which view an organisation uses is chosen in the View library.

Good to know

  • All settings of an integration are on the page of that integration, below the connection itself. See Plugin settings: customer data, catalogues and actions.
  • You can use several integrations alongside each other, for example a webshop and a warehouse system. Records of the same type then appear in the same tab on the ticket.
  • You can set up the same integration more than once, for example for two accounts in the same system. Each connection then gets its own name.
  • You cannot install or build an integration in aishaa yourself. aishaa decides per account which integrations are available. If you name a program in the onboarding for which there is no integration yet, that counts as a request; when the integration is ready, you are notified. See Setting up aishaa with the onboarding.
  • There is no general API, no outgoing webhook and no Zapier integration for connecting a system yourself. See API, webhooks and Zapier: what is and is not available.
  • An action that has been carried out does not send a reply to the customer. The reply is always a separate proposal; only if a colleague lets an agent send by itself per topic does it go out without intervention. See Trust and letting an agent send by itself.
